11-5, so are the Ravens, we split with them, depends on tiebreakers...
ReplyDeleteI like the late bye week and the end of the schedule.
ReplyDeleteSteelers should be on a hot streak going into the playoffs.
Only 4 days between Cinci and Cleveland in December. Fortunately both home games.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a 13-3 or 12-4 schedule to me.
ReplyDeleteThat opening month is pretty tough. At Baltmore, Houston and Indy.

ReplyDelete"Steelers should be on a hot streak going into the playoffs."
ReplyDeleteor they could get soft for playing too many weak teams (except KC). Hope it doesn't happen....
Not bad. Only two back to back road games, and the Thursday night game is at home.
ReplyDeleteshould be 11-5.
ReplyDeletehate playing ravens first game. i wish they would give both teams a couple weeks to get going.
Dale, What do the asterisks indicate?
ReplyDeleteAdam -steelblitzkrieg
I got it, Flex weeks.
ReplyDeleteAdam
As the previous poster stated, flex weeks. But I don't expect the Steelers to get flexed with five prime time games already in the plans.
ReplyDeleteThat finale at Cleveland also won't involve two playoff contenders.
dale,
ReplyDeletelooking at the schedule, there are only 2 teams that can really spread the steeler's defense out and attack through the air - colts and pats. maybe houston.
other teams may try, but it wouldn't fit their style, as of what we know right now.
with that said, does that affect how the steelers draft? are they less concerned about picking up a quality CB early?
No. They'll still take a corner early because they have to be prepared for it - if not during the regular season, then the postseason.
