Mike Wallace returned to practice for the Steelers today on a limited basis and should be ready to play Sunday at Arizona.
More troubling was that center Maurkice Pouncey was limited today as well with a left elbow injury.
Linebacker Jason Worilds and running back Rashard Mendenhall were also added to the injury list. Worilds aggravated his quad injury, while Mendenhall has a slight knee injury.
Chris Hoke was missing again today, which would be troubling if he were a younger player.
But for Hoke, who has been around longer than most of the coaches on this team, practice isn't a necessity.
What the hell is going on with these injuries? Maybe the team should hire an exorcist for the locker room.
ReplyDeleteIt's on problem with having an older team.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with Worilds? He's young, hasn't played very much but always seems to be injured. I had high hopes for the kid and this time would have been his perfect opportunity to showcase his talents. What a shame.
ReplyDeleteMendy has a slight knee injury? Do you think he'll be a go on Sunday?

Yeah, Mendenhall will play.
ReplyDeleteI'm more worried about Pouncey. Any word on him Dale?
ReplyDeleteDale, Heard McClendon might start. Main problems I'm hearing with that is his inexpericne (true) and his size. But is he really 280?? He looks much bigger than that to me
ReplyDeleteIn the preseason especially, next to anthony gray (listed at 330) Steve didn't look that much smaller, just taller than him
Pouncey will play. I'm guessing Hoke is a game-time decision, but I'd be surprised if he didn't try to give it a go.
ReplyDeleteAs for McLendon's size, he's a little bigger than he was when he got here, but still undersized for the nose.
