Woodley, Roethlisberger, Leftwich, Adams, Mendenhall, Cotchery and Van Dyke inactive today for Steelers.
Mendenhall is inactive because he doesn't play special teams.
Willie Colon is active for the Steelers, but looks like he's still a little slow moving around. Would probably only play in an emergency.
so glad they broke out the bag of tricks.....
ReplyDeletePouncey's lack of strength is seriously being exposed at guard, he is getting destroyed.
ReplyDeleteif the refs are gonna call PI on one out of every 3 passes, the steelers should just start bombing the ball.
ReplyDeleteBut not on a 3rd and 3.
"But for whatever reason, I actually like the Steelers to win this one. These games are almost always close regardless of whos playing QB. I'm really tempted to bet it with that big spread but I don't like playing on the Steelers.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like Harrison is starting to come back to form. I'll call a big strip-sack from him to change the game."
just sayin.....
Glad for Charlie Batch. I think both he and Leftwich really suffered from being rusty when they got called on to start.
ReplyDeleteThe young guys stepped up big time. Keenan Lewis, Cortez Allen, Curtis Brown, Dwyer and Kelvin Beacham.
Suisham was money, too.
I thought Dwyer was inconsistent. But obviously the o-line situation wasn't ideal.
ReplyDeleteI got to rag on Sanders here. I mean wtf dude. And after his big drop after the big fumble he pulled a Limas Sweed. He made up for it some with a clutch catch. But he was just ridiculous.
And Wallace is the new diva of the NFL WR corps. Batch's pass was horrible and not being caught by "Shaquile O'Neal with a rocket up his ass", but at least attempt a jump.
Regardless, hell of a win. Great for Batch and the defense has stepped up and then some. If the D keeps it up and Ben comes back playing like he was, then this team can hang with anyone. We just have to hope they don't drop a game they shouldn't.
I was unable to watch the game but heard Taylor is hurt, any news on his injury?
ReplyDeleteI bash Wallace for being soft but two big catches on the last drive.
ReplyDeleteIke's injury sounds bad. (MRI on fibula, ankle?)
Huge, huge gut-check win. Charlie Batch!
