As stated, Ryan Clark is down for the Steelers.
Also down are Sunny Harris, Urbik, Hills, Shaun McDonald, Kirschke and Timmons.
Peyton Hillis, Ryan Harris and McBean are inactive for Denver.
Sunny Harris is a bit of a surprise. It leaves the Steelers with three DEs, but Hoke can play there in a pinch.

Opposing teams gameplan = throw to whoever Gay is covering because he sucks

C'mon Patrick, u can't login under own name?!
Never mind Mike Wallace's speed, the dude has good hands. He's catching some tough passes in there and protecting the ball well after he does.
that wasn't even funny
might want to sharpen your game before you bring up my name.
Once again, you just look stupid.
Nice to see the running game get going. I've watched a few of the post-game reactions, and no one's gone into depth on how well santonio matched up with champ. i could be mistaken, but i think he caught every pass.
Yep, he did. Just re watched the game
I've been saying at times santo's just not good enough, but a good game against Champ Bailey certainly changes my mind
Dale,
Larry Johnson to the Steelers rumors along the same lines as Michael Vick to the Steelers or is there a chance here?
Joe,
Just off the top of my head I would say, yes. Definately along the same lines. They aren't desperate for a RB and the Steelers don't bring clowns into the organization.
I think Larry Johnson's unwillingness to block is a good enough reason to keep him away. Mendenhall has been very capable at it and Fast Willie might not be as good at it but I think his blocking ability is underrated. He's been willing if nothing else.
Mendenhall BTW, doesn't just give us downhill running and fast reads he's also great at running out of single back formations. Late in the season we might need a fresh FWP so I like the way the running game is shaping up. When did Willie Colon morph into a solid RT anyway? Doesn't seem that long ago he was our favourite whipping boy.
NO time to pat ourselfs on the back. Now it's time to get focussed on Cincinnati and kick some Bengal Ass!!! Looking forward to " What we learned in Denver" thanks Dale Dave W.in Las Vegas
anyone else see santonio yelling at mendenhall after his big run with about 5 min. left in the 4th? just curious whether it was congratulatory or more along the lines of "stay in bounds."
with an 11 point lead that late in the game, it doesn't overly annoy me...though i'm hoping it doesn't become a weekly trend.
yeah, i was pissed he ran out of bounds. first, he could have bulled that DB for atleast another 5 yards. second, obviously keeps the clock running.
however, did anyone notice the clock was still running on the very next play when the steelers were at the line of scrimmage?
also, how about those blatant muggings and choke holds the denver OL put on james harrison. i couldn't believe they got away with that so often.

I don't think he went out of bounds with under 5 minutes to go. Outside of 5 minutes, the clock rolls after the ball is spotted regardless.
wow, i had no idea. that's crazy.
You weren't the only one. Guys in the press box didn't know the clock keeps running rule. Guess they watch too much college football.
