Another ace by the Steelers marketing department, making sure that demand for throwbacks never puts the slightest dent in the sale of traditional Steelers' merchandise.
The Steelers sure do things different from the rest of the NFL. WHere most teams try to increase sales with the alternate uni's...the Steelers try to get there fans to protest them
Apparently they are from 1934 when the team went 2-10. Doesn't that tell us something about the value of these uniforms? They should have been left in 1934
I hated them at first but like Hack they grew on me some. When you look at the pictures of the players wearing the full uniform they arent as bad. Plus the story Ed Bouchette tells about them makes sense - theres a certain nostalgia about them for the organization.
That said, I prefer the throwbacks from the past few seasons even with the yellow helmets. But lets be honest - this is just a way for the NFL to squeeze out every dime possible and anyone saying different is lying to themselves.
holy smokes. i wouldn't take that (or the old throwback) if someone gave it to me ! obviously someone buys 'em, because the nfl keeps changing them. i'll stick with my block number 70's style jersey.

Yeah I don't see these things catching on...

now I know why they call them "throw back" uniforms. THROW THEM BACK IN THE GARBAGE!!! YUCK!

They are quite bad. No back to the draft. Dale, you have got to be hearing something. Inquiring minds want to know.
They look like roadkill except worse Dave W. in Las Vegas
Ugh.. Can we start a petition to stop this or something? I'm among those that love the regular throwbacks, but these are just bad.. Yuck
If they had single digit numbers, they'd be rugby jerseys.
If they had no numbers, they'd be prison uniforms.
I thought April Fool's was a couple weeks ago. the other jerseys were disgusting to watch, and now Nike proves they dont know football jerseys..
maybe they will distract the other team.
Hideous!
Can't we bring back Polio instead?
Didn't the McDonalds' Hamburglar where that outfit?

UGLY. Why not go to the 70s uniform. We were great, they are 40 years old, and they look good.

Instead of throw back uniforms, they should be called "THROW UP" uniforms.

Hamburglar much?
Ever since they unveiled these uniforms, I've had this weird craving for tuna.
Hate to say it, but they are slightly growing on me
Looks like a Bengals uniform that was thrown in a blender then stitched back together.

Got to say I like em ... maybe cause I'm from a land of rugby (Wales) ... but they've got a certain appeal ...
