Our schedule is as pretty as those new, err old, uniforms, Dale.

Isn't it odd that there aren't any division games until week 7? It's not a league-wide thing, though. Even factoring out possible week one "splash" games, many other teams have division games prior to week 7.

I think this is bad for the Steelers. Mounting injuries and exhaustion during the season will affect the team's ability to win against its division rivals, I think. Add to this the early week 4 bye so they won't get a break during this time.

So, thumbs down on the scheduling, but it *IS* cool we get Manning's first game as a Bronco. All eyes will be on that one.

The biggest difference between this schedule & last year's schedule is that this year we don't get to face the following QBS:

Tarvaris Jackson, Curtis Painter, Blaine Gabbert, Kevin Kolb, Tyler Palko, Colt McCoy, Seneca Wallace (and Dalton as a rookie 2x).

Don't have that luxury this year. Hope the pass rush stays healthy.

Don't like the early bye or facing Baltimore twice in three weeks, which is just weird.

afc north will be lucky to get 2 teams in the playoffs this season. at first glance, i see 10-6 for the steelers, which will probably win the division if they win the tie breakers with ravens/bengals.

Definitely a more challenging schedule this year.

Which will make us battle proven if injuries don't kill us. But that is the risk you take with older players.

interesting Peyton / Denver week 1... and Tebow / NY Jets week 2...

we got rid of a lot of the geezers so this might not be that bad

Pittsburgh does well against a tougher, more hyped schedule. Like all Pittsburgh teams, they tend to play-down the competition.

2 west coast trips in 3 weeks will be a drain for the team...

just curious, i saw one mock draft having the steelers picking LB zach brown from UNC. says he is an athletic freak at LB, but needs to learn more.
