Okobi to Arizona

Though it's not particularly surprising, Chukky Okobi is expected to sign with the Arizona Cardinals today, pending a physical.

The move would reunite Okobi with former offensive line coach Russ Grimm.

The Cards have a need for a center after starter Al Johnson injured his knee in Monday night's meltdown loss to San Francisco.

Not too surprising.

Has anyone picked up Verron Haynes yet? I always thought he was a good guy and hoped he could find success with another team at least.

I'm even less concerned about the Arizona game now, since I know that Big Snack will absolutely destroy Okobi.

It's good to see Chukky reunited with Papa Grimm (the players' choice for head coach, we shouldn't forget), and next year they'll probably be reunited with Faneca and Starks as well.

Nobody has taken Haynes yet. Don't know that they will given his injury history.
I doubt the Cards will leave Okobi one-on-one with Hampton too much. But he will destroy him if they do.

Hampton destroys every center he plays against.
