Steelers-Texans game thread

The weather tonight in Pittbsurgh is perfect for the Steelers-Texans game, though there is a chance of rain later in the night.

Landry Jones, Justin Brown, Ike Taylor, Shamarko Thomas, Ryan Shazier, Chris Hubbard and Steve McLendon are down for the  Steelers.

Justin Brown takes a seat in order  to get Martavis Bryant on the field.

Jadeveon Clowney is down for the Texans.

Looking good...or not.

Dude, Timmons just threw up on the field at 7:59

Is anyone else sick of seeing this team throw deep every other play and it not even be close?

I hope he has the flu or something.

That's two out of three night games this year (he did in Baltimore too) that Timmons vomited on the field. Tonight was Exorcist-style, though. Yuck. Too bad he didn't do it in Carolina, too. That would make three straight night games. He could get a streak going. Wonder who has the record.

Holy hell. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that from the Steelers.

Now they are playing with attitude

Well, that was exciting. Steelers were like Rip VanWinkle suddenly awakening from a long sleep.

Kiesel deflected the ball, it bounced off Timmons' helmet and right back to the diesel for a pick.

Kudos to the coaches for making adjustments like bringing in Adams as the 2nd TE to block, replacing Spence with Vince Williams and a little trickiness in the RZ.

What a difference a few turnovers and red zone scoring make.

If not for a very odd 90 seconds, do the Steelers win this game?

I fully expect the league to come down on Polamula for jumping on QBs pre snap. they have to be getting tired of it.

I think I'm getting tired of it. It hasn't worked since Kerry Collins.

Wow! I don't know where that came from but kudos to the Steelers. I didn't expect them to win and I'm not sure where those 24 points in 3 minutes came from, but I'll take it every time.

Here's to hoping you mention McCullers and Bryants efforts on your post game notes Dale, both kept their play above the line in their debuts.

The no timeout for opponent fade/bomb to end zone is inexcusable. Just dumb whoever called it. U know our talented QB is a mental midget so Tomlin, tell him to run!!
