It's a chilly night here at LP Field in Nashville, a perfect night for the Steelers to come out and re-establish their running game with Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount.
The Steelers (6-4) need a win in this one to move ahead of Cleveland and Baltimore, who are both 6-4, in the AFC North standings, though with Pittsburgh on a bye next week, that could again turn into a three-way tie for second or last in the division, depending on how you want to look at it.
As we already know, Troy Polamalu, Ike Taylor, Steve McLendon, Ryan Shazier and Shamarko Thomas will be out today for the Steelers.

Steelers must start fast and score some points in the first quarter; they are 6-1 this season going into second half with lead and are 0-3 when trailing in the first half.
If the Steelers lose this game it’s over for Steelers and Mike Tomlin might be out of the job by spring 2016. Steelers will be playing AFC West and the NFC West next season and it will be tough for them to get to the playoffs next season. We all know how good Steelers travel and play the west coast teams and 4 seasons in a row without a playoff appearance should send him packing. I think they will miss the playoffs this season and the losses to Tampa and Jets are going to haunt them. Having said that Go Steelers.
Well, this was fun for about 10 minutes.
Some bad clock mgt there at the end of the first half. No real reason to call time out with 52 secs left. There was plenty of time to get a play in and if not a first down, then wind the clock down and kick a FG. If it was a 1st down, 2 TOs left and still plenty of time.
Of course AB was wide open, but BR made the wrong kind of throw.
Just pathetic. What a bad team
Wonder what Dri will do with a good ball
Z in Tempe
Don't forget the head coach is intimately familiar with BR and the DC coached under Lebeau and knows the defense, too.
Further for these bad teams, beating the Steelers is a BIG deal. It's like their super bowl.
that timeout was beyond stupid
Damn, what a way to close out a road win. No style points, but imposing their will like this on a team by running out the final 7 minutes on the road was impressive. Great win! Ben needs to figure out how to play better on the road, but I'll take it.
Hats off to the Steelers, yes the Titans have a poor record, but the Steelers came back to win, good grit. I loved watching Bell run, he is something special. A win is a win and we needed this one badly.
Very impressive 7+ min drive to close out the game. Bell is the real deal for sure.
Take away the hiccup at the end of the first half and it's probably 30/34-17 final.
Now they get a bye week to get healthy for a final 5 game push. Cincy has Pgh twice, at Clev and home to Den. Pgh gets NO on a short week after playing Balt. KC will be a test though.
Thankfully there's no committee to judge our performance. A win is a win.
This game is completely different if we get an effective pass rush. Where was it? Absolutely no pressure against a rookie QB. Zero sacks!
Dale, help shed some light on that, please.
I could be wrong but it looked like the Titans went max protect fairly often. Limiting our chances for sacks.
the news about Blount leaving the field and being an internal problem is bad. I think cutting him will be crossing their minds.
blount.....still a sack of crap human being.
Neither Bouchette nor Dunlap have any idea why whatever happened, happened. Just some comments by anonymous sources. I won't be a bit surprised if there's not a correction by tomorrow.
blount produces, and sadly enough that is pretty much all nfl teams care about. a guy who produces like he does wouldn't be let go so often if there wasn't something wrong with him
