Who I like - Jacksonville version

Rookie quarterback faces defense looking to continue re-establishing itself as a force. This isn't a good spot for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Rashard Mendenhall will also be back and should be motivated after watching his backups have some success last week.

The Steelers are 13 1/2 point favorites in this one, which is a big spot.

But if they control Maurice Jones-Drew, they should be OK.

Take Pittsburgh, 27-10

© In a poll of players conducted by Sports Illustrated, James Harrison was named the meanest player in the NFL, garnering 35 percent of the vote.

It reminds me of when Joey Porter was on the cover of SI as the "baddest man in the NFL."

At the time, the joke among reporters was how could Porter be the baddest man in the NFL when he wasn't even the baddest man in his own locker room.

Harrison had that honor.

MJD is def about the only thing to worry about. And for whatever reason, Jax does well against the Steelers. Like an anony wrote the other day, Mathis has a knack for picks too. Only way the Steelers lose is by sloppy play, turnovers and MJD running wild.

Steelers 26, Jax 17.

Oh and because I like to stoke the flames, even though I'm an "idiot", apparently I'm smart enough to pass the PA bar exam.

And with that I'm off to the bar to celebrate.

I think someone has been watching the beer commercial that talks about passing the "bar" exam.

That's a huge betting line. Green Bay is playing the winless Rams, and only getting 14 points.

If this game is a blowout I suspect Jack Del Rio will probably become the "former" head coach of the Jaguars. He's been the HC long enough now to give a fair evaluation. From what I've seen he's a better Defensive Coordiantor than he is a head coach.

Steelers 35, Jax 9

I'm mounting a lawsuit against Redman playing

Wayne Weaver isn't the type to pay a guy not to work while paying somebody else to do his job. He'll wait until after the season to make a run at Cowher.

I might add that the Jaguars have scored above 16 points just once this season.

absolutely no reason for the steelers to lose this game.

steelers win 24-13

I'm picking Cowher to go to Miami with Luck from Stanford as his first pick.

yeah right. Cowher is probably the one idiot who would pass on Luck. You do know he didn't want to draft Big Ben right? Rooney stepped in and overruled him

If the offensive line plays well, and we add some more blocking from the backs, we should be just fine at controlling this game.

I think this game and next week's game @ Arizona should be good games to get key players healthy before the NE game, and the revenge game against the Ravens.

think Cowher must have learned by now. You cant win without a franchise QB, and he spent most of his coaching career without one

if he goes back to coaching I can almost guarantee it would be one of his first moves

From what I've seen, Jack Del Rio is probably a better pianist than he is a head coach....and I have no idea if he knows how to play piano or not.

Dale is spot on about Weaver. That dude is one of the cheapest(and worst) owners in sports. He's not going to pay Del Rio to go sport fishing every Sunday for another 4 months.

I heard Jack Del Rio had a ten inch pianist!!! Hello!!
